Le Printemps des Champagne

And once again, at the beginning of the spring, all champagne lovers, professionals, trade people and influencers are coming to Reims to celebrate miracle of champagne wine. A whole week is devoted to exceptional champagne tastings with various exhibitions, fine receptions, master classes, endless wine tastings, sincere visits to the winegrowers, and fun nightlife in the clubs, cafes and restaurants of the region.

I was also there into the magical kingdom of champagne, and it was a huge pleasure to take part in the joint venture events. Freshly made young vin clair tastings are a rare opportunity to taste the still wine of which champagne is later made of – early life of worlds finest wines before the bubbles.

Climate, weather, vintage, soil, altitude, aspect, wine growing methods, viniculture and winemakers choices, as well as personal mood and character of the grower – that all speaks of the terroir, and is presented in each single cuvée.

160 tastings in 3 and a half days, wonderful meetings with nicest people in the world – wine people, always smiling and nice! I’ve visited some best grower champagne wineries, tasted heavenly champagne made with care and dedication – full of flourishing energy of the terroir they are grown. What an expression of powerful aromas, mouthwatering flavours and spectacular colours of Champagne region in a bottle of elegant, charming wine!

At the end of the journey, I was so excited, so impressed by the growers philosophy, a quality champagne, the terrific charisma of the people and the region, so I was sure – this experience will definitely lead me towards some new adventures in my own life!
